Here's What I'm up To

Tiny break!

I just wanted to do a quick shout-out since I’ve been away for a bit — dealing with some minor health concerns (apparently I had mono and didn’t know it and I got shingles at the same time, as well as an abscess!) and I’ve been busier at my “real job” as two people have gone on medical leave.

But there are two projects I’ve been involved in that I’m absolutely excited about that I wanted to share with you.

First and foremost, I’m a Senior Contributor at Olney Magazine! My amazing friend Brandon Noel is the editor-in-chief and it’s a beautiful literary magazine of poems, photos, short stories, and more. I hope you can check it out. Recently, my short story “Overthrow You” was featured. Read it and let me know what you think.

If you’re into more absurd things, you can find me and my friends Rob Marvin and Brandon Dumais as we host a podcast where we repeat the same script every week for a year called “We Are Podcasting in a Room.” We’re three episodes in and it already seems completely ludicrous. If you keep listening I’m sure we’ll be taking on new schticks and perspectives each week.
